hi. i’m camille. i’m a self taught cook, dog mama and wife.
for me, food has always been front and center in my life. i grew up in the kitchen between my big fat filipino family and a whole roasted pig. creating and sharing food is my passion. it’s in my blood.
i live in the upper pacific northwest. bellingham, wa to be exact. seasonal and locally sourced ingredients are important to me. my filipino heritage is something i’m very proud of as well. here you’ll find sort of a mishmash of both and everything in between.
most recipes are taste tested by my handsome husband. i say most because there are just some things (that i love) that he will not touch with a ten foot pole. i.e. quinoa, mushrooms, and tofu. (and yet he’ll happily eat my oxtail soup with shrimp paste and fish sauce.) the puppy dogs are my honorary taste testers. they are my biggest fans.
i’m here to share and document the food that i love to eat.
